It's chock full of the kinds of entities and items you love to put in your games-creatures of great promise and power, an array of non-player characters who your players will love to love (and possibly grow to hate), and cursed artifacts that promise powerful magic... at a powerful cost. Additional optional rules and GM advice make it easy to provide your players with the darkest, scariest Old Gods of Appalachia experience at the table.

If you're ready to go deeper into alternate Appalachia, this supplement will take your hand and guide you through the dark woods. And better this book than, say, pretty much anything else you might find out there in the shadowed hills and hollers.

Inside this book you'll find:

Inspiring and useful tips and advice for running Old Gods of Appalachia games, useful whether you're brand-new to gaming or an experienced pro.
New cyphers and artifacts, including cursed objects, which can provide players with powerful magic, but always at a cost.
New optional rules for elements like rituals, possessions, and poor choices to increase the sense of dread, horror, and danger your players will feel at the table.
GM intrusions designed to match up with elements like the Green, the Inner Dark, and the natural world.
Powerful, intriguing creatures and NPCs to surprise, delight, and terrify your players.
